Hi. I’m Mike. The Classic Console Doctor, specializing in vintage console repair and restoration for that BIG Sound from the 50’s, 60’s. 70’s.

I’ll come to your location, do an initial assessment and repair right there if possible. Most consoles have not been serviced in decades and will require at minimum “re-capping” of the electrolytic and coupling capacitors.

Power Plugs are generally old, thin, unpolarized and dangerous.

For major repairs, I’ll remove the “guts” and speakers and bring them back to my shop to do the work and return and reinstall them when complete. I’ll keep you updated with videos and pics of the progress while working on amps, tuners, turn tables, etc.

Makes, like Magnavox, Admiral, Zenith, Philco to name few. How about Guitar Tube Amps, like Fender, Marshall, Gibson, Vox, etc.

I’m based in Suwanee, Ga and caver the Metro Atlanta area for house calls. Otherwise you can bring the gear to me for assessment and repair.
